FULLY COMPLIANT WITH
INTERNATIONAL LAW

Mobility for free minds

The Freeland Passport is an international document of the extraterritorial state of Freeland, with the same legal force as passports of territorial states.

Why is this necessary?

During geopolitical turmoil, national passports can restrict freedom or even endanger their holders. The Freeland extraterritorial passport provides a neutral, internationally valid document that secures mobility beyond politics.

Important: Freeland Passport does not replace a government-issued passport, citizenship, residence permit, or visas where required by law.

Answers to the most common questions

No. This is an extraterritorial international document. It is not issued by any country and does not grant citizenship.

No. A forgery implies there is an original. If you forged a Freeland passport, that would be a forgery. However, the Freeland passport is a real document that can be presented anywhere, and acceptance is determined by the verifying authority.

Acceptance is at the discretion of local authorities and organizations. There are no restrictions on experimentation, and using it does not violate any laws. However, Freeland provides no guarantees regarding where or when the passport will be accepted or rejected.

The Freeland passport may be useful in situations where your primary passport faces limitations, and it may reduce friction in some cases. However, it does not override existing government restrictions or legal requirements.

Yes, if required by law. The Freeland passport does not guarantee entry or residency rights.

Yes, owning and using the Freeland passport is completely legal. Acceptance or rejection depends on local laws and regulations.

Only what is necessary for issuance, security, and KYC compliance.

The passport is valid for 20 years. It is not automatically renewable. In the event of the citizen’s death, the passport is revoked.

In addition to the payment, you must install a hot or cold crypto wallet that supports the Polygon network (e.g., 1inch, MetaMask, Trust Wallet) on your computer or mobile device. After payment, an NFT token will be sent to your wallet. This wallet, now containing the token, is also used to log in to your account and complete the application.

You can purchase multiple tokens. Each token can be used by one person to apply for one passport. A person can hold up to two active Freeland passports at once. If a third passport is applied for, the first one will be revoked, and the second and third will remain valid. Unused tokens can be transferred to another person via the Polygon network.

No. Refunds are not offered after a token has been purchased, even if the passport has not been issued. However, you may resell the token at any price you choose. Once the token is minted via Freeland’s smart contract, the buyer becomes the new owner.
